Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Kitchen & Bathroom Brassware

Industry Sector: KBB, Showers, Sanitaryware, Tapware, Brassware, Kitchen & Bathroom Retailers, Independent Retailers, Plumbing and heating Merchants and Builders Merchants

Area to be covered: Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and East Somerset (may include Bristol/ Bath)

Remuneration: £30,000-£35,000 Neg. + £10,000 Uncapped Bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed Car & Full Benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager Kitchen & Bathroom Brassware will involve:
· Field sales position, promoting a manufactured range of kitchen and bathroom taps, showers, accessories and fittings
· 60% of your time selling into independent kitchen & bathroom retailers & retail showrooms and 40% independent plumbing & heating merchants and builders merchants
· 90% account management existing dealer customer base, responsible for circa 80-85 independent retailers/ showrooms and independent plumbers merchants/ heating merchants (mix of selling calls at showroom/ branch level and “farming” calls at head office level)
· 10% new business development, responsible for recruiting one new account per month
· Responsible for a well established area, created through splitting a larger South West area due to the success of the incumbent field sales person
· Responsible for £1m turnover, tasked with achieving £1.1m
· Dealing primarily with owner/ operators of independent kitchen & bathroom retailers
· Accounts can vary from between £1,000-£45,000 per month
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Kitchen & Bathroom Brassware with:
· Kitchen or bathroom industry experience, may consider associated trade also, such as; tiles, plumbing & heating etc.
· Proven track record in field sales
· Must have experience of selling into kitchen & bathroom retailers, retail showrooms or independent plumbing & heating merchants / builders merchants (may consider someone who has worked for a retailer/ merchant looking for first field sales role if fantastic face to face)
· Personable/ excellent people skills, with strong worth ethic
· Motivated, hungry attitude
· On the up in career, comfortable with lots of driving
· Ability to run area as if it was your own business
· Knowledge of kitchen and bathroom taps, showers, accessories and fittings is not necessary as full product training will be provided
