According to images on social media, fire crews have arrived at the station this morning. One user on social media, posted a picture which showed four fire engines at the scene. Alex Haynes accompanied the tweet with a comment which read: “Bank Station evacuated due to a fire.”
Another user described the incident as they were evacuated.
Brightslumber said: “What a way to start the morning.
“Evacuated out of Bank underground.
“Smell of smoke in the station. Loads of blue lights.”
