Teaching Personnel are working with a School based in South Bristol who are looking for a behaviour mentor to support a KS3 group of pupils are finding it hard to remain engaged and focused in mainstream lessons. Working within this large secondary school there are a number of pupils who will fall under the SEN and SEMH bracket, with the quality of staff that help within the behavioural unit the pupils are provided with the right support to develop.
However, Teaching Personnel are seeking for another suitable candidate to help provide the pupils support with their work. This could be on a 1:1 basis or in small groups throughout the day. The role has appeared due to a pupil not being able to sustain good behaviour in a classroom setting; this means they need that additional support to provide them an opportunity to complete lessons outside the initial classroom. Being able to build a rapport with the pupil will be key to integrating them back into the classroom.
Teaching Personnel require the successful candidate to have a child work force DBS on the update service. This is a great investment that allows you to work in any school in Bristol throughout the year.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see (url removed)/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
