Bouygues UK is looking for a BIM Coordinator
to join our Technical team based in Bristol.
Whilst the role is based in Bristol, the BIM team there covers all our projects in the South West & Wales regions, so the role will require periodic travel to our other office in Cardiff and our various project sites across the region.
This is both an office and project based role, managing and undertaking BIM tasks and supporting the BIM manager.
Job Purpose and Scope:
Reporting into the BIM Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and coordination of the Project BIM Execution Plan and delivering BIM uses particularly focused around MEP.
Support the BIM manager in all activities.
Undertake the project BIM uses.
Support implementation of project wide BIM modelling standards.
Support project team on BIM tools and uses.
Prepare statistics for including in project reports
Undertake clash detection exercises as required.
Manage the Builders work coordination process to ensure design team adherence to process
Review and report on all BIM outputs from the project team
Implement project wide BIM modelling standards.
Identify / undertake training needs when require.
Undertake modelling exercises in Revit to assist the site team
The delivery of model assessment reports.
Support the design and construction team members with BIM/ Modelling related issues.
Delivery of clash/issue reports.
Dissemination of clash/issue reports.
Production of clash detection reports within specialist software
Provide Revit, Navisworks and BIMCollab training session to Bouygues UK employees.
Who we are looking for:
Essential Skills and Attributes:
All round knowledge of the construction industry and processes, Architectural, Structural, MEP & Quantity Surveying.
Excellent all round technical knowledge in particular Revit and Navisworks
Excellent presentation skills.
Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
Microsoft Office Suite.
