Bristol City finally have their man through the door after Timm Klose signed a contract until the end of the season.
The 33-year-old had been on trial since last Friday and impressed with his physicality and fitness in training to help plug the gap at centre-back for the rest of the campaign.
With Nathan Baker ruled out for the season, it was imperative that manager Nigel Pearson addressed the issue and bolstered his ranks at the back.
Transfer deadline day on Tuesday is fast approaching and despite City’s willingness to offload one or two players, nothing has come to fruition just yet.
It is likely to mean another signing could be more hope than expectation for supporters but Pearson and Co are undoubtedly working hard behind the scenes to crunch the numbers and determine whether any more business can be done.
Meanwhile, we’ll bring you all the build-up to tomorrows clash with Preston with Curtis Fleming hinting Max O’Leary will keep his spot in goal.
