Hello and welcome to another live blog. After very little movement in the managerial hunt during the week, yesterday there was a new twist with Bristol Live understanding that Bristol Rovers plan to hold talks with former Rotherham United and Exeter City manager Matt Taylor.
It is currently unclear how those talks went but you would imagine that the 41-year-old is in the running for the job. Elsewhere, Garry Monk and caretaker Andy Mangan are still understood to be in contention while it is believed that interest in Karl Robinson has cooled.
The Gas aren’t in action this weekend due to the international break which would be an ideal time to make the appointment if a decision can be made in time.
Stay tuned for the latest news and updates throughout the day.
