Would you like to work in the elegant spa Town of Cheltenham and the surrounding area of Tewkesbury, with contrasting and varied architecture, from Regency town houses with their intricate ironwork balconies to modern and contemporary buildings including the award winning Wilson Museum?
About the role…
To ensure that all new building work carried out within the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Borough Council districts comply fully with the legislation and guidance contained within the Building Act 1984, the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended) and associated legislation. The targeted outcome of these actions is to provide a safe, accessible, efficient and comfortable built environment for all users.
You will have a Building Control background or experience of the construction industry. This post would be an ideal opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience within the profession. The Technician post could be a natural progression for a person from a technical support background.

To be considered you will need…
* HNC/HND level or equivalent relevant experience can be considered as an alternative
* Degree/relevant professional qualification
* Experience working in a similar role
* The ability to travel for work purposes
