The Prime Minister and his wife have one child together, Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson, born in 2020. The couple married in May this year and announced they were expecting their second child in July. But the new arrival will come much sooner than people might expect.
When is Carrie due?
The Prime Minister and the new Mrs Johnson waited a few months before they announced the happy news.
Although they revealed it in July, the child will come in a matter of weeks.
Mrs Johnson said she was expecting a “Christmas” baby.

Officials across the political spectrum congratulated the couple with posts of their own.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer extended “every best wish” to his political adversary.
In a tweet, he celebrated the “happy news that they’re expecting another child”.
And he offered his sympathy for Mrs Johnson, saying he was “very sorry to hear” of her earlier miscarriage.
DON’T MISS
He has previously refused to admit how many children he has fathered and only revealed the number to Ms Guthrie.
But when asked if he has six children following Wilfred’s birth in 2020, he said “yes”.
His remaining five children come from two previous relationships.
The Prime Minister has four with his ex-wife Marine Wheeler, whom he separated in 2018 and finally divorced in November 2020, and another via an affair with art consultant Helen Macintyre.
