However others were unsure on how to clean blinds with fabric softener and expressed that it could get messy.
One woman said: “It’s not messy. I dilute some fabric softener and spray on the blind before wiping it down with a duster.
“Just don’t dilute too much or it won’t have the same effect. I do know people who do it with washing up liquid too. House will smell good.”
They can be used dry by wiping each slat with the sheets.
Mrs Hinch also recently revealed that she uses tumble dryer sheets to clean her blinds along with a little bit of Zoflora to help disinfect them.
One woman recommended using baby oil as the build up of dust will easily stick to the product.
The comment read: “I use dilute baby oil before wiping off with a wet cloth. Make sure not to dilute it too much but at the same time you don’t want to use straight baby oil as it could get messy.”
The woman said she added the baby oil into a spray bottle to help make it easier to spray onto the blinds.
She added: “Wipe off with a wet cloth and disinfect them if you want to. You can either let them dry naturally or run over with a duster.”
