We are currently supporting a world-leading energy management company that support global customers in improving their production efficiency and meeting their environmental sustainability targets. This FTSE 100 company are looking to recruit a Compliance Engineer to join their Technical Audit, Product Integrity and Compliance team, providing direction and support in meeting regulatory requirements for Products, Services, Solutions, and New Product Introductions.

Key Responsibilities

*

Ensure timely delivery of compliance related activities to meet all regulatory requirements for NPI projects.

*

Co-ordinate / guide third party compliance audits and activities on behalf of the NPI project teams in conjunction with the engineering and PMO function.

*

Ensure maintenance of up-to-date compliance data for project technical files within company PLM / business systems.

*

Identify and contribute to continuous improvement activities relating to compliance processes and policies.

*

Identify and enable training for global teams on regulatory compliance issues.

*

Contribute to the compliance documentation that forms part of the Quality Management System.

*

Ensuring PMAs (particular material appraisals) are complete and current.

*

Contribute to creation of annual audit plan(s) and jointly co-ordinate with the wider business to deliver. Ensure adherence to audit and review schedules and reporting deadlines.

*

Ensure timely identification and communication of compliance regulatory changes and information (e.g. changes to standards).

*

Maintain network with certification bodies to ensure advance warning and contribution to changes in regulatory requirements and standards.

*

Deputise for standards and compliance manager as required.

Experience Required

*

Managing Compliance in at least one of the following markets – Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, or Healthcare.

*

Delivering global compliance (e.g. ATEX, IECEx, EC1935, PED, RED, etc.).

*

Delivering compliance through utilisation of notified bodies.

*

Management and running of audits.

*

Achieving compliance with industrial products and solutions / applications

Assessment Process

As we are retained by our client, we will be conducting assessments between the 17th and 28th of May and selecting candidates to progress by the first week in July. Our client is committed to making a hire as soon as possible.
