Mother-of-three Nicola Fuller shared her dramatic encounter with a very aggressive and “disgracefully rude” cashier at Aldi.
The mother-of-three said she couldn’t keep up with the cashier’s speed and described it like a “slot machine” as the food was falling onto the floor.
Nicola explained other Aldi customers were left “gawping” after seeing what was going on.
“He could see my struggle and when a tin finally fell, I began crying and shaking,” the traumatised shopper explained.
“I knelt to the floor to pick up the food while simultaneously trying to watch my children.

“I asked the cashier to please stop scanning through more food and that it felt like he was throwing the items at me.”
Nicola said that the worker accused her of being too slow although she claimed she was trying to pack everything as fast as she could.
Another member of the staff had to intervene and take over.
Nicola explained she had been a loyal Aldi customer for 10 years, but she is now “worried” about coming back.
However, a speedy cashier at Aldi is no surprise as the supermarket claims to be 40 percent quicker than other shops.
Although Aldi explained that is part of its strategy to be as efficient as possible, many shoppers have previously complaint on social media.
“I’m close to an anxiety attack every time I shop at Aldi due to the mad speed,” commented one shopper.
While another said: “The speed of an Aldi checkout clerk is inversely proportional to your speed at packing your bag or trolley”.
