Depot Administrator / Coordinator

The opportunity has arisen for a Depot Administrator to join the team in Gloucester. The main aim of the role is to support the Supervisor with administration, organization and coordination of works.

The ideal candidate will have MS Excel Experience and be confident data inputting and managing spreadsheets, be a confident communicator who can liaise with the Supervisor and organize work permits/book road space.

Training will be provided.

As Depot Administrator / Coordinator you will be responsible for and expected too:

Liaise closely with Supervisors and other operational staff within Ringway to ensure permits are requested and acted upon in a timely fashion
The Traffic Management Act and refers to the raising of permits to book road space for work on the Highways. This is an important legal requirement for the contract.
Build on the excellent working relationship with GCC Highways Streetworks team to ensure we are compliant
Input and administer permit requests in Ringway’s CPA system
Keep an up to date and accurate record of permits requested, completed etc.
Be involved with a company wide forum for discussing Streetworks and testing system upgrades

As Depot Administrator / Coordinator you will be responsible for and expected too:

Self sufficient
ICT literate including use of Excel and Teams
A problem solver

Previous experience of permitting and/or Highways would be desirable but not a pre-requisite for the role.
