Established in 1983, Bristol MISSING LINK is a leading provider of Housing and Support Services to women with mental health needs and/or multiple disadvantage in Bristol, North Somerset and South Glos. Missing Link is the parent organisation to NEXT LINK domestic abuse services and SAFE LINK sexual violence services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Missing Link for an experienced Senior Bids and Tender Writer to support future growth and development in our Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Mental Health Services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, to work alongside the CEO and Senior Management Team.
With experience at responding to tenders and a strong track record in securing new contracts through competitive tendering, you will identify opportunities and produce compelling and persuasive written material. In addition to producing high quality, engaging proposals you will lead activity across the organisation to develop sector and competitor insight and support work to raise the profile of the organisation as a service delivery partner.
Having both a strong understanding of the commissioning environment in government and local authorities and the ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines is a prerequisite. You need to be comfortable balancing your time between hands on bid writing and developing and implementing strategies to help the organisation identify, prepare for and secure new contracts.
In this role, you will be a natural communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level both internally and externally. We are looking for someone that wants to make a difference, shares the values of Missing Link and will be committed to helping us fulfil our charitable objectives.
The office is based in Bristol with services covering Bristol, South Glos and North Somerset. You will join us on permanent contract working 22.5 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,745 per annum (pro-rata) plus benefits.
