Our client, a leading customer communications company, is looking for Permanent Goods In operatives to join their busy team, based in Bradley stoke Bristol.
You will be responsible for : Receipting and putting away of stock into the warehouse maintaining accurate records on the computer based system
Job Summary:
* Ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, stock and products to feed business operations and customer demand.
* To assist with the quarantine and holds process
* To work as part of the wider warehouse team.
* To ensure communication is maintained throughout the shifts with Management and Team Leaders
* Working a 4on4off shift days only
* Ensure all H&S measures on site are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take delivery of stock and supplies
* Undertake quality checks on stock being delivered
* Pick and Pack orders for dispatch
* Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck
* Load stock for dispatch
* Input data regarding stock and inventory in to a computerized system
* Keep accurate records of stock being delivered
* Carry out stock counts as and when required
* Maintain high standards of behavior and performance, at all times with colleagues and drivers coming to site.
* Actively promote and demonstrate a positive “can do” attitude by providing effective commitment for holiday or absence cover in the warehouse (goods in/out teams).
* Ensure all change initiatives are undertaken in a positive and proactive manner.
* Any other reasonable responsibility given to you by your manager.
* Operate in a safe manner complying with all health and safety requirements to ensure own and the safety of others.
* Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency.
