“It now seems that eating avocado may help to lower blood pressure, too.

“Avocados are low in sodium salts and provide potassium, calcium, magnesium and vitamin E, all of which have beneficial effects on blood pressure control.

“Avocado is also a rich source of healthy oils, with as much as 30 percent of avocado pulp consisting of the same monounsaturated fats as are found in olive oil.”
