An immersive pop-up shop that will showcase more than 40 independent brands is coming to Bristol.
Fashion event promoters Wild Thing & Co are taking over Liberty House in Stokes Croft between May 24 and June 5, creating a venue that will feature plenty of selfie opportunities and a catwalk.
Designed like a motel, the shop will offer customers the chance to indulge themselves in a “glorified selfie hub,” featuring interactive scenes and rooms which each boast various photo opportunities and displays of different brands.
Just some of the brands for shoppers to choose from will include festival giant Burnt Soul, local star Bellisa X Clothing, pre-loved sequin specialist Twinkled Bristol and print wizard Printed Weird.
Customers will be able to choose from a wide range of accessories, homewear, beauty and more – and there will also be live DJs gracing the decks on occasion.
Wild Thing & Co was created by four close friends who all work and run small businesses of their own in the festival, event and fashion industries.
The business is made up of Bristol-born Sisters Katie and Lauren Hobbs, owners of independent marketplace Wild Thing, event performer Beth Sykes and Tae Notton, owner of Shop Trashy.
Announcing the shop’s launch, they said: “Instead of offering another standard indoor marketplace, the store will offer an immersive experience alongside standard trading.
“The store is a great opportunity to consciously shop till you drop, support small businesses and come away with some amazing content for the gram!”
Wild Thing & Co’s pop-up takes place at Liberty House, 11-13 Stokes Croft, Bristol BS1 3PY between May 24 – June 5.
