We are currently seeking a passionate and talented communicator with a background in internal communications and engagement with an eagerness to learn, grow and develop within the industry. This is a full-time, 6 months fixed term contract role working with our Wealth Management Client based in Wiltshire.
The Internal Communications Executive Duties:
The Internal Communications Executive works within Marketing but closely with HR and is tasked with delivering an engaging communications strategy to all colleagues across all offices and to those working remotely.
* Comms planning and execution – manage the rolling communications plan that marries the priorities of the business (and senior management) and the information needs of all colleagues
* High-quality execution – deliver thought through, appropriate and high-quality execution across all internal channels i.e. emails, intranet, scripts for employee briefings, newsletters, townhalls) in line with our brand and internal tone of voice. Ensure all communications are subject to the required governance and sign-off by key stakeholders.
* Creative and engaging content – ensure communications are innovative and exploit best-practice for impact, reinforcing key messaging and helping colleagues to digest and connect strategically.
* Hub (Intranet) – own this principal internal channel, engaging with a network of content producers across the business to ensure a regular refreshed stream of articles and other content. Also own technical development of new software releases, monitor MI/usage data to identify trends and drive adoption.
* Other channels and collateral – ownership and conceptualisation of specific campaigns, ensuring use of media that is fit for purpose. Development of campaign plans, co-ordination of activity, and post campaign analysis/reporting. Coordinating online staff briefings as required.
* Internal brand ambassador – providing guidance to colleagues across the business, particularly HR, about how to effectively position and present messaging.
* Cross-department projects – lead representative for Internal Comms on cross-department project teams, providing input to appropriately shape internal comms plans and content.
* Induction training – manage the internal communications content for new starter induction sessions, ensuring it stays up to date and aligns with our business strategy, vision, purpose and values.
* Promoting our culture – support HR in the delivery of a comms strategy, and associated initiatives, that embeds and strengthens our desired organisational culture.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience and Qualifications
* Advanced interpersonal communication and presentation skills
* Excellent written English, able to write both formal and informal comms
* Significant internal comms and engagement experience, additional industry specific experience would be advantageous
* Excellent Word, PowerPoint, Excel knowledge and experience with Google Analytics, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign publishing skills
