Several neighbourhoods in Bristol could be home to a brand new KFC site in the future.

The American fast-food chain has listed hundreds of areas across the UK where they are eager to open new food courts, restaurants and drive-thru spots.

Five places dotted around the Bristol area have been noted as possible sites for the fried-chicken restaurant.

There are currently eleven KFC drive-thrus and good courts in the Bristol area.

KFC applied for planning permission to open a highly anticipated franchise in Yate at a former Frankie & Benny’s restaurant last November.

The Yate premises have been empty since March 2020 after Frankie & Benny’s announced the permanent closure of more than 120 restaurants .
