Our client is an award-winning, full service, commercial law firm and they are rapidly developing a national reputation for its innovative approach to delivering legal services. They operate in the financial services, leisure, retail & consumer goods, technology & media, renewables, housing and public sectors. Their specialisms are real estate, banking and finance, commercial, corporate, employment, dispute resolution and litigation.

The Job:

On behalf of our client we are searching for a Legal Assistant for their Real Estate team which is based in their centrally Bristol office. They are recognised as having one of the foremost real estate groups with in the region, with over 200 staff. They work across a variety of industry sectors and deal with a mix of commercial and residential property work.

The role will include:

* High volume work within the Real Estate Services team dealing with residential purchases for Housing Associations, Developers and others.

* Freehold and leasehold acquisitions, disposals and other estate management work for commercial real estate clients such as licences to assign and lease renewals.

* Project work such as large scale due diligence for refinancing, portfolio acquisitions and disposals, lease reports.

* Provide all clients with a high quality service

* Maintain and improve relations with existing clients and spot opportunities for business development and enhancement of the current services we offer.

The Person:

For this role, our client is seeking someone who has gained some experience as a Legal Assistant in Real Estate

* The role would suit an experienced legal assistant or legal executive (CILEx qualified)

* Commercial or residential property experience experience is desirable

* Strong file management skills communication, drafting skills and billing,

* Good eye for detail

* Working with case management systems.

* Ability to juggle a busy and varied workload

* High standards of client service essential

* Good IT skills

The Hours:

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, 35 hours per week

The Location:

Central Bristol, no car parking. (this is currently working from home)

The Salary:

Up to £25,000
