Border Force officers were seen climbing aboard the Balmoral in Bristol Harbour today.

A team of officers dressed in black arrived at the moored paddle steamer by boat.

The Border Force logo could be clearly seen on the dinghy as it neared the famous boat that runs pleasure trips between Wales and the West Country.

Until recently the MV Balmoral was moored at Mardyke on the northern side of the harbour near the Grain Barge.

But it is now at her more familiar location right in front of the M-Shed at Prince’s Wharf.

Visitors to the harbour clearly saw at least three border force officers climb aboard the boat before the dinghy headed back to a floating mooring in the middle of the harbour.
