Logistics Office Manager
£competitive + bonus + corporate benefits
Harding is leading the way in innovative onboard cruise retailing, adopting a Trinity Partnership approach with our cruise line partners and brand partners to create exhilarating shopping experiences. We stay at the cutting edge of retailing; consistently providing outstanding customer service and being recognised as Cruise Retailer of the Year for 2019.
Restart plans are in full swing as the cruise industry gets back to business with a staggered return to sailing. As such, we are looking to recruit a strong Logistics Office Manager to manage the administration team encompassing import, export, offloads and compliance requirements of the movement of those goods. If you’re up for a challenging role, then this business-critical position could be for you!
During a normal year we would move around 10,000 pallets globally, including T1, Free Circulation and Excise goods, either directly or via our 3PL partners. Harding has AEO status, so a major part of this role is working to ensure the documentation of the customs warehouse is compliant at all times.
Whilst managing the performance, training and development of the Customs Warehouse Logistics Administration team, the role will oversee the import and export of goods to cruise ships worldwide. The team is responsible for 100% customs compliance for the Customs Warehouse including ensuring all relevant documentation for import and export is accurate. You will supervise the teams’ use of Descartes E-Customs and ERP System (Microsoft Navision), ensuring exemplary records are kept throughout.
As Manager you will develop and maintain relationships with several port agents globally to ensure the smooth loading of goods to cruise ships. You will also liaise with 3PL partners in the UK, US and Australia, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
