Love Saves The Day has made an announcement regarding next year’s event just as this year’s festival draws to a close.
In a festival of firsts, the multi-genre music event took place last weekend at the Clifton Downs, where it was held for the first time with an increased capacity from its previous home at Eastville Park.
Normally kicking off festival season in late May, for the first time Love Saves The Day happened in September.
And, just as this year’s festival ends, the event organisers have now released a statement with a couple of big news for next year.
Team Love has announced Love Saves The Day will return to its usual date of May/June next year, but that it will move to another location which hasn’t been announced yet.
Tom Paine of Team Love said: “Wow. We’ve had such an amazing and rejuvenating weekend on the Downs with the IDLES and Love Saves The Day Festival.
“We had amazing crowds of smiling happy people, beautiful weather and some jaw-dropping performances from musicians and bands, the pictures and videos from the weekend speak for themselves.
“We’ve certainly all waited a while to be able to put on our shows again and it’s been such a great feeling to do so again for all of us, our staff and crew, freelancers, musicians, DJs, security, bar teams and the 1000s of other people who work on the show.”
He continued: “We are already making plans for 2022 which will see us return to the usual date of May/June.
“We will be looking to relaunch the Downs Concerts for September 2022 whilst Love Saves moves to a new home.
“More information to follow.”
Love Saves The Day first took place at Castle Park in 2012 and returned for its ninth edition last weekend.
Around 50,000 people descended upon Clifton Downs across the three days to enjoy a weekend packed full of music, good times and great weather.
