It is another testing day on the M5 through Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and the wider South West.

In what is becoming a familiar pattern, holiday traffic heading into, out of, and through the region is causing long delays on a Friday.

Today, the pinch points have been southbound between junction J17 A4018 (Cribbs Causeway) and junction 20 for Clevedon. Travel time is 45 minutes.
