A man in his 30s was punched near a takeaway van in Bristol city centre.
Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault, which happened on Canons Road.
The incident took place at around 1.35am on Saturday, December 18.

The suspect is understood to be a male who spoke with a Welsh accent, according to an appeal released by Avon and Somerset Police.
Officers are now keen to speak to the man pictured in connection with their enquiries
He is pictured on CCTV footage wearing a bright blue jacket, black jeans and white trainers.

Police say he visited bar Steinbeck & Shaw that same evening.
They are urging anyone who recognises the man or witnessed the assault to contact them, by calling 101 and giving the reference number 5221296311 or completing the online appeals form.
