A UK market leading CNC manufacturing business in Gloucester are now seeking an Apprenticeship qualified Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join their rapidly growing maintenance team. This business has seen sustained growth tripling turnover across the last 5 years.
Your new role
As the Multi-Skilled, Electrically biased engineer, you will be working a 3on, 3off, 2on, 2off shift pattern doing 6am – 6pm; this pattern allows you to be guaranteed every other weekend off. You will be reporting into the Maintenance Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Operations Manager. You will be expected to manage the PLC, ideally with the experience of maintaining Melsec or Mitsubishi PLC’s. On a daily basis, as the Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be working with Inverters and working off of their PPM schedule.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically bias) position, you must be apprenticeship trained within an Electrical course and you must have a proven track record with maintaining PLC’s. It will be crucial to your application that you have worked with CNC machinery previously, ideally Grinding and Milling machinery.
What you’ll get in return
As the Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be paid a salary of up to £35,000, in addition to this salary, you’ll also receive a 20% shift allowance taking your overall salary to up to £42,500.
