A UK market leading CNC manufacturing business in Gloucester are now seeking an Apprenticeship qualified Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical bias to join their rapidly growing maintenance team. This business has seen sustained growth tripling turnover across the last 5 years.
Your new role
As the Multi-Skilled, Mechanically biased engineer, you will be working a 3on, 3off, 2on, 2off shift pattern doing 6am – 6pm; this pattern allows you to be guaranteed every other weekend off. You will be reporting into the Maintenance Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Operations Manager. You will be expected to manage the mechanical maintenance, on a daily basis, responding to reactive issues and working off of their PPM schedule.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias) position, you must be apprenticeship trained within a Mechanical focused course and you must have a proven track record of working with 5-Axis machinery. It will be crucial to your application that you have worked with a variety of CNC machinery previously and have worked to replace and calibrate bearings.
What you’ll get in return
As the Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be paid a salary of up to £35,000, in addition to this salary, you’ll also receive a 20% shift allowance taking your overall salary to up to £42,500.
