A brand new Aldi is opening in North Somerset this month.
The store in the Queensway Centre, Worle, will offer fresh, British meat products with weekly offers, as well as Specialbuys in the middle aisle every Thursday and Sunday.
It will also provide Aldi’s award winning ‘Specially Selected’ range, exclusive beers, wines and spirits, and a ‘Food to Go’ section at the front of the store.
The new shop is opening at 8am on Thursday, September 16.
To celebrate the store opening, store manager Simon Cloke, and his team will be joined by Olympic gold medalist Matt Langridge to cut the ribbon on opening morning.
Mr Cloke said: “We can’t wait to open the doors to the new store in Worle.
“It’s set to be a special day as we’ll be celebrating the opening of Aldi’s first store in the area and having Olympic hero, Matt Langridge, join us will make it a morning to remember.”

Rowing star Matt Langridge won silver at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and bronze at the London 2012 Olympic Games. He completed his Olympic medal collection by claiming gold with the men’s eight in Rio in 2016.
He said: “I’m so excited to be opening Aldi’s new store, it will be great to chat to customers and a lovely way for me to thank Aldi for its support of Team GB.”
The new Aldi store is calling on local charities and food banks in Worle to register with Neighbourly, a community engagement platform that links businesses to charitable organisations in the local community.
Local charities that register will be able to collect surplus food and perishable products, such as fruit, vegetables and baked goods, up to seven days a week.
Any charities in the area that would like to partner up with the new Aldi store should email email@example.com.
The new store will be open Monday to Saturday from 8am until 10pm and Sundays from 10am until 4pm.
