Leading Bristol based Engineering firm are seeking an Operations Administrator to provide operational support to the operations coordinators and supervisors. The successful candidate will liaise with all internal contacts to ensure the smooth running of the facility and operations.

Ideally you have experience of performing general office duties including switchboard, reception, arranging travel requirements for field-based personnel, including research, monitoring, recording, and booking of flights, car hire, accommodation, visa applications etc You will be well versed in updating spreadsheets regularly and recording costs in the accounting software.

The company have been market leaders in their field for several years and have clients across the globe. They are well respected in the market and can demonstrate a stable and consistent order book.

The role in brief:

General office duties including switchboard, reception, setting up meeting rooms, including video conferencing & refreshments, dealing with daily outgoing post and small parcels.
Arranging travel requirements for field-based personnel, including research, monitoring, recording, and booking, of flights, car hire, accommodation, visa applications etc
Placing orders with suppliers, tracking the deliveries, booking in goods, and signing off invoices.
Updating spreadsheets regularly and recording costs in our job accounting software
Following month end procedures

The candidate required:

Exceptional organisational skills with very high attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, anticipate and respond effectively to changing priorities
Flexible, conscientious attitude to work.
High standard of written & verbal communication, with a confident & professional phone manner
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm, focused & productive in a fast-paced working environment.
Comfortable working autonomously
IT literate, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
