Are you a creative and supportive individual who passionate about supporting women to bring about change in their lives and want to join a team of fantastic staff and volunteers?
One25 is the Bristol charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. The Peony Service runs in the community for Bristol women who are ready to move on from multiple disadvantages, and offers five afternoons of therapeutic and meaningful activity per week. Peony is central to One25’s vision to see marginalised women move from crisis to community. Ultimately, we hope to support women to find work and become emotionally and financially independent.
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and confidential assistance and administrative support, be well organised and enthusiastic, pay close attention to detail to support the Peony team and act as a key liaison for referral agencies, as well as being a direct point of contact for the women themselves. Within the Peony setting, you will support the team to deliver a programme of activities and 1-1 support with women. You’ll be a big part of the team, where everyone takes a flexible and collaborative approach to work and is committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable and marginalised groups.
It is an Occupational Requirement that applications for this post are open to women only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, of the Equality Act 2010. Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
