Salary Range: Up to £43,002 per annum
(Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time and Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Performing Arts Learning Area Manager at our Wise Campus.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
All tasks to be carried out in a Total Quality manner, consistent with the Corporation’s culture.
❖ Be responsible for learner outcomes, high quality teaching, learning, assessment and curriculum management within the Learning Area
❖ Ensure high levels of attendance, added value, retention, achievement, student satisfaction and progression and that these are monitored and reviewed using identified College systems
❖ Encourage innovation within the Learning Area
❖ Responsible for Performance Management of Learning Area staff
❖ Represent the Learning Area internally and externally and develop and facilitate strong links withPartner Schools, Higher Education Institutions, other educational organisations and employers
❖ Establish and maintain the Learning Area reputation as a centre of excellence
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
❖ Relevant Level 6 or equivalent Performing Arts qualifications and Qualified Teacher Status
❖ Directorial and production experience essential
❖ Musical Theatre experience essential
