
A man is in hospital with a significant wound to his neck following an incident in Bedminster in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, August 25.)
Police were called to Luckwell Road shortly before 1.10am this morning (August 25) where they discovered a man with a wound to his neck.
He is being treated in hospital and his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

A police cordon remains in place on Luckwell Road, as of 10.50am this morning.
Avon and Somerset Police said in a statement: “Shortly before 1.10am this morning (Wednesday, August 25) we were called to an incident in Bedminster near the junction of Elmdale Road and Luckwell Road.
“When officers arrived on the scene they discovered a male with a significant wound to his neck. He was taken by paramedics to hospital where he continues to receive treatment. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

“Police remain at the scene and a cordon is in place while enquiries are carried out.
“We’d ask anyone who witnessed what happened or may have CCTV footage showing the nearby area, to contact us on 101 giving the call-handler reference number 5221195751.”
