From favourite film classics to timeless TV box sets, many people grew up watching the best Disney characters – and still turn to them for entertainment even as adults.

Primark’s latest collaboration with the iconic entertainment company will certainly up the nostalgic notch when getting ready for bed, and fans are loving the Primark X Disney range.

On its Instagram page, Primark debuted its vibrant Disney character nightwear, promoting a peach-coloured PJ set with designs of Stitch from the 2002 film Lilo and Stitch.

Its caption read: “Staying cosy with Stitch this morning. PJ set £15/ €17/ $19 #PrimarkXDisney #PJs”

Both Disney and Primark fans flocked to the comments section to share their opinion on the budget retailer’s newest drop.

Many social media users were also tagging loved ones in comments and subtly hint at gift ideas.

One user wrote, “MUST HAVE!” alongside a love-struck emoji. Another user added, “Cuteness overload” to which a representative of Primark replied, “True!” alongside a love-struck emoji.

A third user commented their admiration for animation by writing, “I’ve got the Barbie one in these soooo comfy so you know I’m going to get these!”

A Lilo and Stitch fan also enthusiastically chimed in: “Have to look out for these to match the Lilo ones!”

There were a few that had reservations of collection, from the prices to the selling of branded wear.

One commenter angrily wrote: “What happened to the non-branded nightie and PJs at affordable prices?” alongside a crying emoji.

Another customer revealed their view of the PJ set, writing: “I bought some of these a couple of months ago and they are going in the bin already. The material has gone all bobbly and there’s a hole in the trousers. Really sad about it because they are so comfy.”

A third user additionally sent their own angry response to Primark, complaining about the lack of size ranges.

They wrote: “So upset and disappointed you never have big sizes?? Why?! This isn’t fair.”

Responding to concerns about its sizing last year, a spokesperson for the retailer said: “The fit of our clothing is important to us and our measurements are in line with Size UK Data.

“We are also proud to offer a diverse range of sizing for our customers, with our Reprieve Our Ocean Jeans available from UK 4 to UK 20, while other denim collections are available up to UK 22.”
