Do you have strong leaderships skills and experience of managing a production line within a manufacturing environment?
Can you can utilise your previous MRP experience to take on the responsibility of a new product range, taking it from product launch through to high volume manufacturing?

Responsibilities of the Production Line Leader

Understand all aspects of the manufacturing process working with the engineering and technical teams
Take responsibility of the manufacturing and assembling of product
Be responsible for the procurement of direct and indirect materials for in-house manufactured components
Develop and train a team as sales increase
Offer a level of technical support to the customer and responsibility for CSM
Ensure all risk assessments are in place and updated
Be flexible to work outside of normal working requirements
Be responsible for arranging customer deliveries.
Be measured against business KPI’s
Have responsibility for scheduling and planning of work orders
Apply lean manufacturing skills 5S, TMP, SMED
Understand, proactively embrace and positively act in accordance with the company’s core values and beliefs and also act in accordance with the code of conduct.
Lead in specific projects and improvement activities as required and directed by management.
Take pro-active responsibility for the improvement of KPI’s by providing data to management and action plans for improvement.Requirements to become a Production Line Leader:

Have good knowledge of all aspects of operations from order in-take to dispatch
Have good IT skills and have understanding of MRP systems
Possess a wide general knowledge of manufacturing
Possess strong communication skills
Have excellent planning, organisational and problem solving skills
Be able to work under pressure, prioritising to meet deadlines
Have experience in lean manufacturing
Have good analytical skills
