PlayStation Plus gamers will be able to download Hitman 2 and Predator Hunting Grounds next week.
They will also have access to Overcooked: All You Can Eat!, which will be the PS5 exclusive for the month.
This means that you will only be able to play Overcooked! If you own the next-gen console, however, it is still possible to claim the game via the PlayStation website.
The description of the upgraded version of the popular indie title reads: “Overcooked!, Overcooked! 2 and all additional content are blended together and remastered in this delicious definitive edition.
“Enjoy hundreds of levels of cooperative cooking chaos both local and online, across increasingly perilous and obscure kitchens.
“Players can enjoy campaign, survival and practice modes, and new to All You Can Eat – assist mode! The game contains features to allow as many players as possible to join in the food frenzy, with scalable UI, dyslexia friendly text and colour blindness options all available.”
The release of these new free games are being planned for September 7, and subscribers have until then to claim the current lineup, which includes Hunter’s Arena: Legends, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, and Tennis World Tour 2.
There is no day where Sony hosts a crossover, meaning you must prepare to grab everything before the official timer runs out.
But while we know what is being planned for PlayStation Plus this month, the same can’t be said for PS Now.
The game streaming service usually reveals its new games a day or so before they go live.
However, as they won’t be launching until September 7, this leaves a much longer wait than usual for the news to be shared.
So gamers will likely have to wait until September 6 before they learn the full lineup for PS Now in September.
Alternatively, Sony could drop the news on Friday, September 3, so PS4 gamers will need to keep an eye on the official social media feeds over the coming days.
Gamers have also been warned that The Witcher 3 will be leaving the service, meaning that there is less than a week to enjoy the final adventures of Geralt of Rivia on PS Now.
“This story-driven open world role-playing game is set in a visually stunning fantasy universe, full of meaningful choices and impactful consequences.
“Play as a professional monster hunter tasked with finding a child of prophecy in a vast open world rich with merchant cities, dangerous mountain passes, and forgotten caverns to explore. The Game of the Year Edition includes The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, all 16 DLCs, and two Expansion Packs: Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine.”
