Location: Swindon

Salary: £19,359 – £20,070 pa

Hours: 37 hours per week

Job Type: Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

New College Swindon has gone through an exciting time of change since we have merged with Swindon College to become one College. Also, with the up-and-coming development of the successful 20M bid of the Institute of Technology, opening in 2022, which will be an inclusive centre for technical qualifications, higher apprenticeships and training for key technical roles, it’s a really great time to be joining us. School Liaison Advisor – The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the team and recruit students to New College Swindon.

You will attend all relevant events at schools or within the local community. You will be involved in enrolling potential students and late applicants to ensure they receive the best start to their college education.

This role involves you to communicate with parents and students and promote the college. It will involve some evening and evening work during term time and you must hold a clean driving licence and have access to your own car to attend events.

School Liaison Advisor – Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations to various groups including parents and young people using innovative and attractive media to attract potential students

– Provide comprehensive Information, advice and guidance on the full range of courses, both part time and full time

– Monitor and manage the progression of the student journey – e.g. time from application to offer ensuring that delays do not occur and regular communication with the applicant is maintained, application to interview and offer time

– Working with the Marketing team provide IAG and support for major events such as Open Evenings, College Experience

School Liaison Advisor – You:

– Customer Service, Marketing, IAG qualification at a minimum of Level 3 or willingness to gain within 18 months

– Minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths or commit to gain

– Minimum of ICT Level 2 or commit to gain within 18 months

– Ability to prioritise and organise workloads to meet customer and college requirements
