We’ve partnered up with an amazing scale-up in Bristol that is building cyber-skills content that rewards critical thinking and problem-solving. They started just 4 years ago, have almost 200 people across their Bristol and US offices, and have already helped over 200 companies, including the NHS and Sophos.
You’ll be working with a super talented and passionate product team of Software Engineers working mainly with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
This is a back-end focussed role, where you’ll be providing the API (GraphQL) through to the front-end where they use React – knowledge of React is useful!
This isn’t a “run of the mill” programming job – you won’t just be churning out code. You’ll be working with other developers to come up with solutions and work on new products. It’s far from boring!Your main responsibilities;
You’ll be working on designing, building, and maintaining an efficient, reusable, and reliable codebase.
You’ll be ensuring there’s good test coverage over all aspects of the codebase by performing unit tests and integration tests.
They work in 2-week sprints, and you’ll work closely with Product Managers.Culture;

You can work fully remotely, but would ideally like someone who’s happy to come in a couple of times a month. They’re not far from Bristol Temple Meads (a 10-minute walk).Tech experience required;
