My client is looking to recruit a Technical Administrator on a temporary basis for 12 months to join their manufacturing business located within Devizes. They supply precision engineering parts to the Automotive, Aerospace and Power Generation industries globally and have 3 manufacturing sites within the South West of England

Within the role of Technical Administrator, you will work as a member of the Technical Team within the business, and will be responsible for undertaking a variety of administration and support activities including:

Processing Internal Requests (PCRs) for tooling requirements
Obtaining & chasing quotes from Suppliers
Creating Engineering Project Folders and ensuring they are complete at close
Generating or assisting with the creation of Technical Manuals
Managing and maintaining training records
Collating and preparing information for the Team Brief
Attending meetings and minute taking as requiredThis is a temporary position for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave, and the working hours within the role will be of 08:00 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday and 08:00 – 13:00 Fridays.

The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and ideally have previous experience of working within manufacturing/engineering
