The search is on for the bonniest babies and sweetest toddler in Bristol and the surrounding area!
This year there’s a share of £1000 cash to be won.
The annual Cute Kids competition launches on Saturday 22nd January 2022 – and we’re ready for another stampede of entries from hundreds of proud local parents of children aged 0-5 years.
Every year we encourage parents to send in photos of their little treasures in the hope of seeing them crowned the winner.

The overall winner with the most votes will win £500! Then the runner up in second place will get £300 & the child in 3rd place will get £200.

No responsibility is accepted for entries which are lost, delayed or images/videos not fully uploaded. Images submitted which are deemed to be below print quality may be excluded from the competition.
VOTING – First Stage
Readers will be able to vote for their favourite child’s photo using voting tokens published in the newspaper from Wednesday 2nd March 2022 until Saturday 26th March 2022.
Full voting instructions will appear in-paper in the published supplement and subsequent published voting coupons. Special voting tokens will be published throughout the voting period which gives the readers access to multiple votes, see your newspaper for details.
Voting tokens may not publish on every publishing day during this period. In the event a Voting token does not appear in paper on any given date due to a misprint and has been publicised in advance (or on the front page of the same newspaper), then the newspaper masthead on the front-page will be accepted as a 20 vote.
Readers may vote for their favourite child’s photo using the published in-paper voting tokens as many times as they like, providing they are using original voting tokens as published in the relevant newspaper title; no photocopies will be accepted.
Voting tokens must not be posted individually, you must post your votes at the end in one batch from one person. We suggest all family & friends voting for a child organise this so one person collects on behalf of everyone & sends them to us in one final batch. Any single voting tokens sent individually & not as part of a main final batch will not be counted & will not be accepted. Voting tokens should be posted to the relevant newspaper title address, see voting coupon published for details.
Correct postage should be attached to any voting tokens sent via post in order to guarantee arrival before the closing date. We will not pay any additional postage costs to accept any post sent with the wrong fee.
All votes will require readers to use the 4-digit Cute Kid Unique Voting Code number attributed to each child. Unique Voting Codes can be found in the published Cute Kids supplement and on this promotion channel. Any votes received with an incorrect, missing or illegible unique voting code will not be counted.
The newspaper accepts no responsibility for any votes that do not arrive in time or do not arrive at all for any reason including incorrect postage and these votes will not be counted.
No responsibility is accepted for any votes which are invalid, inaccurate, damaged, lost or mislaid for whatever reason and proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
Closing date for all votes is Friday 1st April April 2022. Any votes received after this date will not be counted.
Votes will be counted and verified. No correspondence will be entered into. The total number of votes for each entrant will not be disclosed unless published in the newspaper.
The Top 40 children with the most votes overall from all categories combined will go through to the final round of the competition and will be published in a Top 40 feature on Tuesday 19th April 2022. In the event of more than one child receiving exactly the same number of votes, additional photos may be admitted into the Top 40 feature. We reserve the right to change the number of children who make it through to the final round of the competition.
Final stage voting to determine the winners and the overall winner will be published in The Bristol Post from Tuesday 19th April until Friday 6th May 2022 and this vote will close on Friday 13th May 2022.
The winners will be announced in The newspaper from week commencing 23rd May 2022.
