A leading engineering manufacturer specialising in steam, they produce niche peristaltic pumps and associated fluid thermal technologies within 16 countries around the world.
Don’t worry, you won’t need to know about stream – You just need to know how to produce & maintain Turning, Milling, Grinding, CNC tools.
Salary £28,210 – £29,700
Contract to 37.5 hours
Monday – Thursday 7.45 – 4.45 and Friday 7.45 – 12.30

Benefits include – Pension, Life Assurance & Medical InsuranceAs a Tool Maker you will pay a vital role in supporting our company; you will manufacture & Maintain tooling & ancillary equipment used within the manufacturing, assembly, and testing departments within our organisation
Ideally, you will have experienced toolmaker with a good understanding of the following: Turning – manual, milling – manual, Grinding, CNC or Press tool /EDM machining. You could be a great machinist or come from an inspection or Quality background who enjoys the tool room environment.
You will support the Tool room team leader with planning all aspects of the tool’s orders. You will work with the wider team on a daily basis to manage any issues whilst working closing with our tool design team to ensure the most effective tooling designs are used.
Toolmaker core responsibilities:
Manufacture & maintain any tooling or equipment
Support the Tool room team leader with planning and delivering all aspects of tool orders (Breakdowns, planned maintenance or general) and take ownership to ensure closure of jobs
Ensure H&S Regulations & procedures are always adhered to
Support the different departments on a day to day basis with any manufacturing, maintenance or quality issues
Work closely with tool design to ensure the most effective and efficient work holding and tooling design is used
Feedback to departments on any defects or improvements that can be made to the equipment
Fully support the tool room management team to deliver departmental targets
