Tottenham Hotspur stadium fire: 300 evacuated as blaze rips through London venue

Due to the fire, around 300 people were forced to be evacuated from the nine-story building in North-East London. The London Fire Brigade were called to the blaze at 10am today. No injuries have been reported from today’s incident. 

 

Two engines were called to battle the blaze this morning. 

The club has not released a statement regarding the fire. 

According to reports, an air compressor was damaged by the fire. 

It is thought firefighters fought the blaze for an hour. 

Tottenham moved into the state-of-the-art stadium in 2019. 

The stadium is one of the largest stadia in the country and has a capacity of 62,850. 

The estimated construction cost of the stadium was estimated at £1billion. 

Tottenham Hotspur has been approached for comment by Express.co.uk.
