Trade Account Manager, Distribution Sales, South West of England. £38,000 Basic, OTE £46,000 uncapped + 33 Days Holiday (inc BH’s) + Car Allowance + Mileage allowance + Pension and Excellent benefits package. Niche division of a household brand name group supplies security and safety products to wholesalers and specialist distributors. This is an outstanding field-based account management opportunity with a multi-million-Account remit which is covering the South West of England and South Wales from Worcester to Cornwall. Managing over 120 active distribution accounts the role requires an ambitious, likeable and gregarious Account Manager with a proactive spirit and experience selling products through distributors. It is a large patch that once we revert to normal times (written May 2021) it will require frequent travel and occasional overnight stays. The ideal living location will be around the Bristol area.

This role requires an individual that is experienced in selling products via B2B third parties, i.e. distributors, wholesalers, retailers and merchants. For instance, your experience will be selling products into builder’s merchants, electrical wholesalers, IT resellers, engineering distributors, tool sheds, plant hire, security distributors, plumber’s merchants, bathroom showrooms, kitchen showrooms, bedroom showrooms, decorator’s merchants, DIY sheds, etc.

This role is all about relationships and requires a minimum of one year’s FIELD SALES experience in managing trade accounts. The role is introducing new products, training distributor staff and supporting distributors to win larger projects.
