Upgrading to Windows 11 will change all your favourite Windows 10 apps

There will be options to take a screenshot of the entire screen, select just a segment or use a delay timer to capture a moving effect. After capturing your image, you will be able to crop, edit and add annotations.

Windows has already teased many different aspects of the new system. The new Start menu will no longer have the tiles introduced in Windows 8, instead going back to a more typical menu structure.

Snap Layouts is a new feature to make programs neatly snap into place around the screen, with support for multiple desktops. Meanwhile Microsoft Teams will be an integral part of the experience, finding a home on the taskbar for easy access to calls and chat.

But perhaps the best update for Windows users will be that system updates will take place in the background – removing the need to restart your computer so often.

According to reports, Windows 11 will get its full release on October 20, although Microsoft is yet to confirm anything. However, not all users will be able to upgrade.
