A national Approved Inspector are looking to bring a home-based Warranty Standards Surveyor into the business to contribute to the company technical manuals and Building Regulations guidance for their remote inspection staff. Post qualification Building Control and Structural Warranty knowledge is required. Starting salary up to £55,000.
Due to the predominantly home-based nature of the role applications are welcomed from throughout the UK. Mileage projected at 5,000 per annum (dependent on location).
Research and circulate updates on important changes within the warranty industry and relevant legislation to ensure guidance standards and the company’s manual remains accurate and current
Investigate standards emerging to ensure proactive understanding of risk alongside potential involvement with the BSI, BBA and BDA
Feedback on identifying referral trends and opportunities for enhancement
Act as a source of guidance for the technical referral process
Create and develop knowledge management articles to aid the functional requirements of the technical manual
Provide ongoing technical analysis of competitor activity
Generate material for internal and external presentationsSurveyor Requirements
Qualified surveyor via RICS / CIOB / CABE
In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and Structural Warranty standards
Good understanding of warranty standards principals and terminology
Ability to motivate and influence others
Experience of relationship management
Full UK driving license Surveyor Benefits:
